In the 60's a lot of people would have been quite happy with the bottom rig.

These days everyone aspires to own the top rig. Would they be any happier if they did though?

How things have changed over 50 years.

Gday...

no no Yeah I reckon DD ... I would not have been able to camp in at least 90% of the places I have camped in the past nine years if I had the top one.

Praps good for our yankee mates ... but hey, how do ya get summit like that into the proper bush.

Cheers - John

Exactly John - have been in free camps, a huge rig - often towing a car - pulls in on dusk - no accessible spots for such a huge thing, let alone overhanging branches etc. Often they will spend half hour manouvering into a tight spot. And imagine the fuel bill. We are happy with our Conquest, enough room for both of us, and the hump is great for storage for out of season clothing and bedding. We carry chairs and tables in the car on the trailer.
