Been called to too many . Inexperiance, not concentrating is the big issue !! Excessive speed for the conditions exaggerates the crash or damage ! While the authorities concentrate o speed ALONE nothing much will change ! Except gov income .. Even the posted speed limit can be too fast !! We are not concentrating like we used to in older cars ! The newer models do if anything too much for us so we are just steering .

21 years in Fire & Rescue & iv'e seen far more than my fare share of carnage caused by speeding, inattention & drink driving.
All the campaigns they try wont change those with the reckless attitude, or save those they impact unfortunately.
Been out of the game over 15 years now & still suffer the PTSD & flashbacks from the broken people i worked on. If i had my time again i would still do it, for all we lost we also saved many.
