Lead Crystal Batteries

Is their anyone travellling around who is using Lead Crystal Batteries. I realize that Lead Crystal is a trade name and I think they are made or distributed by Betta Batteries. Reading the literature which is put out by Betta these batteries sound like they are a real good thing. As a 110 amp hour lead crystal battery cost about $600.00 I do not want to rush in. I have tried ringing a couple of battery shops but they do not know much about them but being a sceptic if these batteries are as good as the literature states then they may not wish to know about them. I am hoping that someone  independent of the trade using these batteries and can tell me of their experience.

I have attached a web site below which gives some information on these Lead Crystal batteries

With thanks

G'day Black Dog and welcome to the forum.  Don't forget to try the two ongoing games here - 'Who is This' in the 'I Digress' section and 'Pick this Place' in the 'General' Section - a great source to find new places to visit.   Sounds like you've got travelling sorted. http://thegreynomads.activeboard.com/t63664997/lead-crystal-batteries/  is a link to one discussion that has already taken place here.  If you do a search with 'Lead' and 'crystal' you'll find a few more.
