G'day Chris and Rob (Tolegro) and welcome to the forum.  Don't forget to try the two ongoing games here - 'Who is This' in the 'I Digress' section and 'Pick this Place' in the 'General' Section - a great source to find new places to visit.   Havn't been to esperance yet so can't help re your queery

Good free spot is the Gibson Soak Hotel, about 25km north of Esperance on the road to Norseman. However, it has a 72-hour limit. Was there recently, good meals at the pub. Might be a tad busy over Easter but there's lots of room. Check details on Wikicamps.

Oh, nearly forgot ... welcome to the Forum.

Joe

Hope that I am not too late to say welcome to the forum, Tolegro

It has been a few years since I was in the Esperence region, I only know of Gibson Soak Hotel, but I have a feeling that it is no longer free
