Crazy city drivers

Was stopped at the traffic lights this afternoon waiting for them to turn green when a car ran up our backside. STUPID old lady was on the phone at the time. The only comment she made was "what did I hit" So now have an imprint of her nudge bar. Her address was at a caravan park. No wonder I like bushcamps!

Hey Joe I like your Avitar it reminds me of peak hour here in Muscat. Not sure that talking on mobile phones while driving is confined to the city you see it happening everywhere. Someone came up with a good quote the other day in one of their posts and it was something like  "they will never learn - except for the ones that do" unfortunately the ones that do are the ones that usually run into the back of people at traffic lights.

Cheers

You should have called the cops & got her charged with using a mobile phone while driving.

A decent fine might make her think twice next time she feels the need.

You have to call the cops if you think there is a certain amount of damage cost, and with todays cars it doesn't take much.

Police only need to be called if there is injury and/or drink driving involved.

If only damage involved a report can be done online.

Is another of the "state specific" things that mean we'd be better off without them!

Licence yes, insurance no. Damage is not huge and less than excess so will cost me more to claim on my insurance than to pay for it myself evileye

I am itching to get back on the road again, sooner the better.
