BT-50 2015 Dual Cab Centre console removal

Hi all,

My Tow Pro is no longer working following some work performed.

Does anyone know how to remove the centre console around the gearstick please? I want to check that the remote knob has been reconnected.

Any tips would be appreciated.

Mazda site is "gone", but the Ford Ranger one would probably be a help, I think they were even considering a "poor relation BT 50" bit

Try a search on Google as there is probably a video of how to do it.

Why not buy an E-manual on eBay . Around $10 or so for the full gambit. Might be worth having a look.

Symo was asking about what we call the centre console not the radio/entertainment area, I had a look but couldn't find anything. Maybe see a trimmer?

Start from the rear and work your way forward. there are bolts in the floor of the arm rest section of the console, when you take them out you will find it interlocks with the next section which is were the gear shift is . bit hard to put in words BUT as i said start from the back and work forward.

I wondered if you could get at it from the side panel, about where the drivers knee is, a push and a shove and it may come off. However if outlaw40 knows his stuff follow his advise.

Yes Iana depends where you have to get to but if op just wants to get a hand in there is a screw bottom front of console undo that and the side of console will flex enough to get your hand in a bit. most of the screws holding the BT50 together in that area are the security type . Note there is a plastic cover over the screw i mention, it levers off from the top with a small flat blade screwdriver. if your are a circus contortionist that will help a lot .biggrin
