Happy Birthday, Laetisha Scanlan

Australian shooter Laetisha Scanlan has backed up her 2014 Commonwealth Games trap triumph with another gold medal at Belmont..

She was then serenaded by an impromptu rendition of Happy Birthday by packed crowd at the Brisbane complex before Scanlan made a beeline for her father, who first got her into the sport.smile

It is Australia's third gold medal in shooting and eighth in total with one day of competition to go.

Hey, Leo, mate! Can you up the text size in your posts? They are next to unreadable (I'm using a laptop with 17inch screen, and high resolution) on here!

Just a heads up for JA2340 (and others who don't know),  To enlarge the screen zoom factor use ctrl and +, ctrl and - to reduce.  Must admit I also find Leo's text way too small.

Sorry. Thanks for the feedback. It did seem ok from my end. Edited orig post, is that any better?

Where I am making blues is that when I want to copy and paste something from the news into a post it presents as huge on my screen. So I have been trying to correct what looked like a hugs font into something that looks right. I have been using that font size box.

Cheers Leo, that's an improvement :)  Around 10 to 12 point works for me if that helps. (This text is 12 pt for example).

Not that I don't know (have been on fora since early '80s, so not exactly inexperienced!) but prefer not to have to play around with the zoom, when the settings I have work for 99.9%.

That's the reason that I, quite reasonably, I believe, asked for Leo to make a change.

That he has done so, and the result is a good one, says that he wasn't aware of how his settings affected others. Thanks, Leo! Works a lot better!

Wondering why it "looks OK " at your end, but comes out miniscule here. I'm using Chrome, the latest update.

Hi JA2430,

Thank you and others for the tip-off on font size.

I am using Chrome too. I have no idea what is going wrong. It is a mystery to me.

Leo,

Seems to be when you do a quote from another source ... says to me that the source (or your settings?) default to a tiny font size when inserted. Maybe here does that, I dunno!

Cheers

John
