It all depends on what standard of c/park you are looking for & Alice caters for all,  but bear in mind you "get" what your prepared to pay for.

I've stayed in most of the parks but now days I book into G'day Mate & have found it well fenced, good value, clean amenities & friendly staff.

I have never had any problems with the locals.
