Hi, we did the Perth to the NT border last year with our 80 series Landcruiser and roof top tent including the Gibb river Rd, Mitchel Falls, Lake Argyle and the Bungle Bungles. We enjoyed the road trip so much we have just bought a 2008 offroad caravan to travel around in, we look forward to reading of other peoples adventures, and picking up some tips and tricks from this forum.
Cheers

Welcome to the gang SeaJay, enjoy here and out in the playground. As you have already been doing
Not trying to be a smart A but that seems to be a lot of weight on the Aframe You must have a heavy ball weight Nice rig though and that rear right 4x4 tyre looks as though it's about to go over a nice sharp rock
Keep Safe on the roads and out there.

Hi Doug, the previous owner set the van up for extended stay prospecting, I wont usually need to use the jerry cans or third gas bottle as my cruiser has a long range tank, the van also has extra water tanks and can carry 500 liters, would be over weight tho, so only good if you wanted to fill up for offroad. I do have a ball weight scale and the cruiser is licenced for 350kg ball weight, 3500kg tow capacity. The van empty is 2050kg and is ok for 2450kg full.
Yes there is sharp rocks in the Pilbara, as yet we haven't had a puncture but we air down, prob had about 25psi in them in that pic, even so after we did the Gibb it looked like the tyres had been slashed with a chain saw on the treads :)
G'day Seajay and Tez and welcome to the forum. Don't forget to try the two ongoing games here - 'Who is This' in the 'I Digress' section and 'Pick this Place' in the 'General' Section - a great source to find new places to visit. Looks like a very capable rig you have there.
And its welcome from us two 2 seajay
You have had a bit of a look around already well done for that , and a pretty nice rig you got there too.
Keep it up
Woody
