I met a retired couple who live on acreage quite close to Perth.  Lovely people named Des and Marg.  I suggested they might like to assist us Grey Nomads with an alternative to expensive metropolitan Caravan Parks.

They are very happy to make the following offer:

""Low cost totally self-sufficient caravan parking close to PERTH.  This will suit transition from touring in the South-West to anywhere else.""


- Located in Kelmscott on 9 acres

- approx 35 minutes to CBD via Armadale Road and Kwinana Freeway

- 3 minutes by car from Kelmscott Railway Station

- 12 minutes by car from ****burn Railway Station

- 3-5 minutes by car for shops, post office, hotel, cinemas and waste dumping depot

- No bus routes nearby

- $20 per populated car/van or car/trailer per night for less than 7 nights  /  $100 per populated car/van or car/trailer for 7 nights

- $50 per week (Mon-Fri) or part thereof, vehicles as above, but unpopulated (no persons) i.e. storage only

- Small pets on leash OK

- No running potable water to site, however potable water available up to 20 litres a day, if hand-carried

- No electricity to site

- No Wi-Fi available

- No toilet facilities available

- Limited refrigerator space

- Limited freezer space

- No cooking facilities

- Arrival after 12 noon

- Departure by 11am
