Van Rebuild.

Hi All,

I have had some ups and downs since i last posted, the ups are that all the walls and roof is back on the van so it is starting to look like a van again. i have also nearly finished the wiring but that is a slow process running and tagging the wires and the down side is that i have a horrible cold so at times i have less interest than the banks. A bad day working on the van is still better than a good day in the office.

I also would like to thank the people who replied to my other posts most interesting replies thank you.

I have attached a few pics of the progress.

Kind Regards,

Alan.20180509_100655 1.jpg20180509_115300.jpg20180510_140334 1.jpg20180512_152154 1.jpg20180512_152226 1.jpg

I think its just great being able to follow you put new life back into this once beaut caravan.

I struggle putting a Ikea flat pack together.

Just this week I fitted up near the head of the bed a couple of usb charging ports this was brought about as on our last tour while doing the washing up knocked the mobile phone onto the floor followed by the tablet. I had fitted the usb charging ports near the 12volt fuses because it was handy but now realize it was not a thought out idea next to the wet area of the kitchen.

Usb ports are real handy in this electronic age and better then a 240 volt power point phone charger sticking out from the wall. We mostly camp unpowered.

Hope you have left a big enough hole for the refrigerator and furniture fitting to go in.

Taking shape nicely Alan. I like the roof beams, nice blue colour. You should be able to find some matching fabric colours to finish off. blankstare

Keep the updates coming as I am enjoying following your progress.

I know how you feel with the cold as I have one too. Maybe the man flu confuse
