We have a small portable fan heater which is 2000w, not Moretti but a cheap one we bought from Kmart many years ago for about $15. When in powered sites it works very well, heats the van very quickly, the one we have has a thermostat so it can be set to keep the temperature about right. It obviously draws too much power to be used when we aren't in a powered site.
Moretti were sold in Sollys and similar stores a few years ago and we had one which was OK till the fan got a bit noisy. I'd check that it is fitted with a tip over cutoff device as ours didn't - I think it's mandatory for them now.

with those small portable fan heaters theres one thing to consider ,we have one and it did not cost much ,A friend has one in his van a really el cheapo ,but theres a lot of fan noise with it ,ours runs very whisper quite compared to his, just something to consider...
For those who did not look it up - Here it is - The specs say it has a "Tip over safety switch." There is a very high percentage of vanners that carry something like this. They are great to quickly heat the van when you return after a night out in cold weather. In very cold weather we have that one end and the Webasto the other, it only takes 10 -15 minutes until we switch the diesel off.
Regarding noise, the amount of noise they create is subjective. The super-sensitive may call them noisy but on the other hand we don't run ours after retiring.

if you're on a hook up, there's no reason not to have a little heater hidden away somewhere.
Makes it so much more comfy inside when its toasty warm.
Plus if you're paying for leccy, you may as well make the most of it.
