Fox going from cable to satellite.

Our Foxtell Q2 has stopped recording our programs . Rather annoying as we have been in NZ the last week . Mrs rang Fox put through a few checks on our Q2 set top . To say we are being transferred to satellite as cable is being taken off NBN . Seems if your in a high use area ?  They do this . ?? May suit us ?  In motorhome if you think what I am thinking ?  I wander if we get all the free to air channels ? 7 Mate etc . Or have to switch input on TV to areal . ? Lucky my areal still works !!

We have been pondering going back to Foxtel Aus-Kiwi & were told that all new installs are to be Satellite as they are unable to handle cable any more due to network issues. The cost of installation if you want multiroom is quite prohibitive too, so I am still musing it over.

It might be beneficial if we decided to take it with us when we travel, but not sure we would watch it much except at night or rained out days.

Being ex pat Kiwi . I have it for rugby, sport . Yep plus the V8 racing .. No cost for us . But I know in the long run you NEVER get extra for nothing !! Strange thereâs an old Optus card beside set top in motorhome. Was going to ring them ? Wont have to now !

We used to have it for the sport as well, but more overseas sports. Got it cut off as the cost spiralled while they gave insane offers to new signups & ignoring those who had been long term customers.
