Butchers & Bakers

Theres nothing better than a good grilling sausage, but they are rarer then rocking horse do da as are good Butchers that make said sausages and bacon.

Along with Bakers who I mainly look for bread that is a little hard to make yourself like sourdough in various styles.

So how about we give these small businesses a plug as well as getting good places to shop on the road.

A couple of favourites of mine are Branxton Butchery Branxton NSW and Tiaro Butchery Tiaro QLD

The fish and chips at Branxton NSW are definitely worth the stop as well. Cooked while you wait and great taste.

Urana Road Lavington, that's part of Albury Peters and son Urana road, great snags and a great laugh from the staff. Harts Butchers in the Coles Complex over the road, excellent thin snags and often a great kiev

BAKERY:-  PINNAROO BAKERY SOUTH AUSTRALIA = https://www.facebook.com/pinnaroobakery/
Photo #1 = of the Vanilla Slice.....yummmmmmm

BUTCHER:-  RED CLIFFS BUTCHERY VICTORIA https://www.facebook.com/Red-Cliffs-Butchery-1413616691998440/
They make their own fantastic sausages and their quality meats are superior. They grow their own lamb.

BAKERY:- WAIKERIE BAKERY SOUTH AUSTRALIA 3 Peake Tce just down from the roundabout in the centre of town and past the Shell Service Station - NOT the bakery on the Sturt Hwy as Google Maps may show.

Photo #2 = of the Cheese Kranski = which was delicious.

Coorong Mullet Burgers at Salt Creek Roadhouse SA, fantastic!

Pretty simple, a light bun, lettuce, tomato, cucumber, two fillets of Mullet coated in bread crumbs & a dash of mayo.

So light/tasty to eat & not too unhealthy.

Our favourite butcher is at Lockington VIC.

Surprisingly our favourite bakery is Bakers Delight in Mt Gambier SA, beautiful crusty cob loaves.

Best pizza, a recent discovery, Taranto's Pizza in Echuca VIC.

Thin crust, quality toppings & not too much cheese.
