Well , the wife has been on to me for years about my hearing ,she reckoned i was deaf. She took me to a audiologist and he fitted me with a pair of hearing devices
Got home and put them in my ears and now i can't stop my wife from shouting at me ...lol She also has the Tv up miles up too high....lol
I gotta say these little beauties in my ears are absolutely fantastic . Now i can't ignore her any more (selective hearing)
Glad the hearing aids are working out for you. Once you've got accustomed to talking loud for someone it is hard to revert back to a softer tone. Cheers.
Got halfway there to hearing aids. I do have hearing loss but happy with that. The cost could be prohibitive even with the subsidy.
Happy to carry on the way I am. I don't need to hear everyone anyway.

Just get the Govt subsidised ones, no cost, and use them when needed. I tested $4000 ones and really little or no difference to the "no cost" Govt. ones I use.

Aussie Paul.
Yes
I was told the subsidy would be 1500.00 but they could cost up to 3000.00
It really depends on the hearing loss, and the features you need or require. The Govt subsidy would cover only aids with low amplification and no added features.
In other hearing aid threads here on the forum there have been some great suggestions from Ebay to Costco. Use the searech function for "hearing aids".
