We stayed here twice in 2 weeks on a run to/from the Outback to the Sunny Coast. In a cabin, with 3 dogs (yes, it is truly pet friendly). The cabins are small, but clean and well appointed. Good price too ($79-$89 per night). Sites are a good size, could fit the bus no worries. Facilities immaculately clean. Owners are great people too.
You can get a meal delivered from either of the pubs (ordinary) or from the park (they offer 3 or 4 choices). Go the park meal. A $10 chicken burger and chips was a great size, arrived hot, and the chips were PERFECT!
We go back to Tassie in October, and have already booked to break the trip both ways. With the dogs.

Road noise wasn't bad - and we'd notice - we live in the middle of nowhere (literally - 3 hours from town, an hour from nearest neighbours) and we didn't notice anything. I think they've done a lot of work on the place.
