My hot water service stopped heating on electricity I checked and changed the element which was pretty ordinary . I gave it a basic service and cleaned out the tank and also changed the anode . It works on gas not a problem just not sure with the power side any ideas please .
Vhmam Hope you get it sorted soon but when you do could you post the result ,as we have a swift system as well as others here it would be much appreciated thanks....
Did you ever find out/fix the hot water problem, we have gas ok, had 240vt in Mt Isa, got to Mataranka and no 240 hot water, and gas still ok, just interested in your outcome. Cannot work out why there is no way of troubleshooting the problem, we cannot even get a manual to tell you where everything is like anode etc. Our Motorhome is only 12 months old, so any one else out there may have a clue as to where you find stuff let me know, thanks

Have you checked the 240v power point to make sure it is still plugged in ?
Yes, that's always the first thing we check and make sure everything is normal, if they only supplied as I said a troubleshooting page, but nothing, so we will have to wait till we go back to NT and ring them and ask where we can take it, it's still under warranty, as we live in NSW and they are in Melbourne, they might have an agent in the Territory, I just thought maybe someone out there might have an idea what could be the problem
I will ask soon as I find the problem i found there Manual but no electrical drawings everything seems to be more suburban brand
Phone swift I had a problem once phoned swift the guy answered the phone said what?s your address I will send you the parts, hung up , was a bit amused but whenthey arrived I installed them problem solved
We have no documentation with this unit ,I dont even know how to service it Iam handy with the tools ,I dont even know how to get into the anode anyone here have any info, good product but but theres no sevevicing information on it anywhere its weird...
You are so right vhman, absolutely zilch, I think 4 pages we found in with other useless crap, but no where is there troubleshooting, have tried every possible wordings on Google, there sight, I give up, as I said will wait till we cross the border again and ring them, they might have an agent in NT

Ron-D, to get to the anode on the Swift hot water heater, just undo the cold water inlet hose at the heater, and you will find the anode slips in there. (open a hot water tap first) if you don't want to get sprayed.
It is just a piece of aluminium tube slipped over a plastic holder. You can reuse the holder and put your own tube on, costs cents, or buy a new holder with aluminium tube from swift for about $30 odd dollars with freight.
