There is a fundamental reason why comprehensive studies are conducted in various locations before proposals are submitted to governments for construction of wind farms at specific locations.
As well, there are clear reasons why the turbine towers are (in most instances) over 100 metres high, with turbine blades ranging from 40 metres to 70 metres in length. The science behind that is well beyond me, but I do know that every wind farm I worked at had meteorological towers across the entire site - anything up to 24 met towers - to gather the data to justify construction.
At Sapphire Wind Farm, outside Galen Innes, for example, the towers are 135 metres to the top of the nacelle, and the blades are 46 metres long. The blade width and pitch are carefully engineered to take advantage of the wind.
I think there is a bit more science and engineering than simply erecting an anemometer type turbine to generate power. The concept is fine, but it would need refining before anything practical and efficient would be commercially viable.

DIY Tracker for solar cells?
Maybe could build a tracker yourself ?
Keep them dust free ?
Greater efficiency of Fridge? ( Including Insulation / compressor / fridge location / usage ? )
More efficient TV?
Also calculate power loss in charging and consumption cables.
Maybe start with some kind of power meter(s) that measures power consumed by Fridge and TV and generated by Solar. etc
Also I think, if you subscribe to Renew Magazine ( renew.org.au/ ) for $50 year , you get access to all their back issues ,
which could be very useful for research on above.
They had a wind turbine buyers guide ( renew.org.au/wind-power/small-wind-turbine-buyers%e2%80%99-guide/ ) in Renew Magazine, Issue 100 .
Their review would give you ideas that you would need to address if DIY.
Also Wind turbine only generates power when wind is blowing.
Collyn Rivers RV electrics - are good books , see if can borrow at a council library ?
