We are new to the forum and wondering if anyone has an opinion on which place to stay at overnight with our caravan. We only need toilets and a warm shower.

Fuel and meal go to Eucla. Fuel much cheaper and meals better.
Caravan park at Border Village is better so camp there.
Have done the trip across many times and going again next month.
Mundrabilla also has cheaper fuel, usually about Eucla price. Everywhere else is expensive.
Nullabor road house camp grounds and facilities are pretty good too but fuel expensive.
You will find that most places across the Nullabor are pretty average in terms of comparison with parks you are probably used to, generally. Pretty much a dirt paddock with power poles but at least Nullabor and Border Village have laid some gravel down. Prices are between $25 and $35 pef night. There are also some good free camp areas particularly on the WA side but depending on time of year can fill quickly in the late afternoon.
Enjoy your trip. Always like the Nullabor, never get sick of doing it.
Just a couple of things that you need to be aware of for your first trip.
Water is in short supply across the Nullabor so you need to carry your own. Road houses will not supply water to you in any quantity as they have barely enough for their own needs.
There are no sullage points for grey water at the various parks so you need to make some arrangement for collection for disposal at a suitable point.
Make sure your rig is serviced and in good condition. Road houses do not stock much in the way of tyres or spares and their repair ability is limited. You can end up waiting days for parts to arrive so best do preventative maintenance prior to going. Road is excellent from Ceduna to Norseman so if everything is in good nick you should not have an issue. Lots of traffic these days as well so you are not too isolated. Unlike when I first did it in the early 60's.
In good weather if your rig is well set up the road is quite capable of handling 100kph but can be quite windy in places so adjust your speed accordingly.
You will have most fresh fruit and veg and shell fish removed from you at the border travelling into WA and at Ceduna travelling into SA. We carry frozen veg when crossing borders for this reason.
