Hi all, Apolgies if this has been asked before I have searched but cannot find any info specific to my question. I am thinking of buying a set of Adventure Mirrors from eBay contacted seller 're fitting my Isuzu Mux 2015 he said the only thing to be aware of was " they could rake upwards" now without sounding completely stupid what does that mean? does it mean they don't fit correctly ie leave a gap where they mount? I would like the clearviews especially the electronically folding ones which they have told me should be available in October but the cost I think will be too high rumour has it it will be $400 more than standard which would make it approx$1200 for a set of mirrors. So if anyone has fitted a set of Adventure Mirrors to an Isuzu Mux were there any problems? Please be kind fellas with my ignorance! Thanks in advance.
If the mirrors are not tight enough on the mounts (normally a ball joint) they may deflect in breeze when driving particularly when a large truck either passes by or overtakes, is my guess at his meaning.

Me 3 for the Clearviews. I would never leave home without 'em.
Someone I know got similar of evilbay and every time a large truck went past the driver side folded in. One day he went to fold it in himself and the mirror came off.
He now has Clearviews fitted. No problems since.
Worth every cent.

Me 4. I would never go back to the small clip ons. While the ratchet strap ons were a major improvement, the Clear Views are so superior that nothing else will do.
Incidentally, I have driven solo in Sydney and through Melbourne and found that the Clear Views also leave the factory door mirrors on our Ranger for dead. So for anyone thinking that the Clear Views are only good for towing they are excellent in city traffic as well.
We had Clearviews on our previous Land Cruiser 200. Not folding in was the only issue other than the $750 price tag. To pay around $1200 for folding Clearviews is defineatly not going to happen for us. The new 200 series with OEM folding mirrors work great with Milenco clamp on mirrors. They fold in with the Milencos still fitted and I am surprised how quick they are to fit and only need to setup the mirrors once at initial first fitting. At a retail around $150 am very happy with them. I dont miss the Clearviews at all and I have a few more bucks in my pocket if only for a short time!

Thanks all have decided to get the Clearviews managed to track down a set of 2nd hand ones at a good price have bought sight unseen so hopefully they are ok when they arrive..... fingers crossed
Something I didn't see mentioned here was that the Clearviews are very handy when reversing the van into parking spots as you have the ability to remotely operate the mirrors to keep track of where the slab is or even the cook if she is helping direct the operation (ya don't wanna run over the cook).
I found Milenco mirrors a pain as they vibrate and you really can't see much out of them. That's got nothing to do with the OEM mirrors they are attached to but the stem they are mounted on.
Well the Clearviews will have to wait the ones I found online turned out to be a scam so I lost my money lesson learnt never buy if you cannot go and collect them. Buyers beware there are people out there that take pleasure in ripping you off it's a well known site I advertised on looking for a set so I guess I was asking for trouble will now have to keep using the old seatbelt type as cannot afford to get the others now.
Thanks Frank but I did bank transfer so too late have reported the scammer so hopefully he may get caught apparently he's done it many times so if I can stop hom ripping someone else off that will be my reward.

The only two things that stop me buying Clearview mirrors, firstly is the price which is followed by the need to buy a second set if you change tug to a different brand.
