LOL
True ,true, there are 2,000 missing persons and 500 unidentified human remains. They should do more to identify these people before they wipe the memory cards clean and sell the cameras.
I believe some are Indian tourists,as I just bought a Galaxy S7 camera off Gumtree and all I get are Indian Adds popping up all the time.Have tried repeatedly to reset it to factory settings but they keep reappearing no matter what I do.
It is now turned off and locked in a draw. Those bloody Drop Bears have a lot to answer for.
Thanks for the warning but it came too late, might help somebody else.
In all my years in the bush they have only attacked me twice and both times I was able to fend them off with the machete and I only needed medical treatment once. They're nowhere near as bad as made out... but, I do advise, don't leave the immediate camp area after sundown.

I note from a news report that the Jump Sharks are now causing concern.
Apparently a fisherman had one try to bite his arm off out on the Barrier Reef from Yeppoon.
He said it caused him a bit of concern but he is keen to get back to the reef and continue fishing.

Apparently a fisherman had one try to bite his arm off out on the Barrier Reef from Yeppoon.
Apparently, he had to drag the shark onto the boat so it could bite him. Now the local pollies want drum lines out to reduce the chances of some fool doing the same damage to himself. Would be easier to cull the fishermen.
But Drop Bears, none around here any more, the feral cats got the young ones. Debate raging now about culling feral cats and the danger of the Drop Bears coming back.

The fisherman who dragged the shark on the boat so it could bite him is not aggressive anymore.
