1. All kids should be sterilised at birth. To get it reversed, one has to pass a test. Rather like a car licence.
2. If later in life the person shows that he/she cannot look after children, they are sterilised again. Rather like losing you car licence.

I have just re-read Dan Brown's book "Inferno" Well worth a read.
Deals with "Culling" the human race before we breed ourselves into collapse. The Middle Ages had the Black Plague, Took out over a third of mankind, was the aids epidemic a failed culling of the human race? Ebola sprang out of nowhere. Another failed try.
Conspiracy theorists bread and butter.
It is basically saying exactly the same thing as David Attenborough. Took how many hundreds of thousands of years to get to 7 Billion and we expect to reach 20 Billion in the next 100 years IF we don't pollute ourselves out of existence.
"Culling" the human race before we breed ourselves into collapse.
Did Cancer just came out of the blue ? Cheers
I think cancer is a relatively new term. It was called consumption and was used to describe any death where cause was not really known It is only new medical advances that cancer can actually be determined successfully. One of my great-grandfathers died at age 56 of "consumption" which was eventually called cancer.

Gday...
Consumption: An old and once common term for wasting away of the body, particularly from pulmonary tuberculosis (TB). Other old TB terms include the King's evil or scrofula (TB of the lymph nodes in the neck) and Pott's disease (TB of the spine).
I do remember that consumption is now TB. Should have looked that up to confirm. But I think there is a relationship between TB and lung cancer and can be confused. I'm guessing when my great-grandfather died, confusion between the two was probably common.
