I noticed today that Bunnings are selling a 2.2kw generator for $400.00.

Maybe worth checking out if you are looking for a gennie.

I can't find it on their website, will you post a link?

Looking at the range of gens. Bunnings now offers I'd say they have had their fill of cheap generators.

 Hi Mike....Im not familar with Links and stuff,so I just Googled Bunnings Generators to find a long list.On that list is an Ozito 2500 watt inverter generator for $499.Perhaps that is the  one referred to by the OP? Cheers

It may also be that, it is something which was seen in the store, on a promotion special

A few weeks ago I went in to Bunnings to buy a 240 volt, half inch drive rattle gun/impact wrench, advertised at $99

When $79 came up on the till, I queried it, so as not to be asked to pay extra, (paying by plastic card), at a future date

They said that it was a promo special

Went home looked up their website, and it was still advertised at $99

It may be a promotional sale...I noticed it when wandering around but did not note the details.

I will be there again tomorrow so will check all the details.

When you are at the centre of the Universe, known as Shepparton, these specials are around all the time.
