Ibis 3 unit compressor works in heating mode but not in cooling mode.

Filters are clean.

Sounds like it needs a re-gas. Elsewise thermostat not working. Technician required either way.

If it works in the heating mode I would look for other things rather than a regas, eg faulty switches, connections etc, but agree a Tech is needed

Some aircon with heating have the heating done with an element not the gas and compressor.smile

Thank you all.

tried Auto mode, temp set to 22 deg, ran heat until about 10am then switched to cooling and is working.

Strange logic at work here! See how it goes tonight.
