You have not said what is causing the itching but after being attached by sandflies and trying stingose and calamine lotion for 2 weeks the advice that I received from the chemist was to try haemorehoid cream. Worked a treat.

Animine - anaesthetic & antiseptic Anti-Itch lotion. Contains Calomine and lidocaine for some numbing as well.

my first thought would be what is causing the itch, reaction to some thing or bites

Itchy skin can be from insects......sandflies, mossies, bed bugs or fleas.....deal with them

Can be from allergies to insect bites etc .....chemist if its minor....doctor if its not

Can be from your dermatitis, eczema or psoriasis,....creams, but might not be easy

Can be from liver disease, kidney toxins or some cancers and jaundice......doctor

Dry skin from dry air or dehydration...drink more and use moisturisers.

Funny this came up . A few weeks ago I cut up some fibreglass. Since then I have have been itching all the time . Often two showers a day . Thrown the clothes I had on when around fibreglass . I have a feeling Ive been bitten by insects ? But its driving me crazy . Crazzier !
