Well done KathnDave, you won't regret it for one minute. In fact, not even a second. To think you can get them heated and auto fold in now is great and more than likely worth it too. We were only just talking about those the other day.

I love my Clearviews and would never leave home without them. Oooops, I can't can I  

I watch as some attempt to reverse their van against a concrete slab and even after much arm waving and shouting the result is quite often not what was desired or ideal. It is also entertaining to some others.

I find that with a sensible approach position and then with the mere touch of the mirror switch you can angle the LHS mirror to reflect the van wheels position in relation to the concrete. This all happens from the comfort of the drivers seat.
It then becomes a simple procedure to reverse the van to its desired position because you can see the wheels.

No more semaphore signals from Mum and no more raised voices.

All this is over and above what you may see in them while driving forward.

I find that the Clearview is ideal for just checking that the roll up awning is travelling ok by once again adjusting the LHS mirror up a bit to reflect the view of the awning roll. I do this once I have gotten up to highway travelling speed as I did once have a roll that was a bit loose and was flapping. This probably saved me the cost of the mirrors if I had to replace a damaged vinyl roll.

Well worth the investment in safety and convenience.
