Lots of questions to be answered....
Is the transmission suitable for flat towing?
Is flat towing permitted in your State of registration?
Does your MH have the capability to tow this vehicle?
Will it need brake activation while being towed?
Cheers,
Peter
Has anybody towed a Mitsubishi Pajero IO behind there motor home the IO is a much smaller version to the standard pajero
Your Pajero has a tare of only 1330kg,and GVM under 1800kg.As Peter (or perhaps Margaret?) pointed out, there are all sorts of variables.Putting your car onto a suitable trailer would solve many of these problems, with the only question being whether your MH has the capacity to tow just over 2000kg.This weight obviously would vary depending on the weight of the trailer and how much junk (essential stuff) you pile into the Pajero.Cheers

The things you have to worry about is conforming to the trailer regulations. You did not say what the chassis of your motorhome is, what is it's maximum towing capacity?
As the IO is being converted to a trailer and the towing weight will be over 750 kg you will need to have its brakes working. Have you found an A-frame supplier who can marry the IO's brakes with the over-ride coupling on the A-frame?
The third big concern is can you put the transfer of the IO in neutral so gear box is out of action?
This web link is for Western Australian registered vehicles but it is a comprehensive coverage of what will be required for other states.
