i would like to remove the bed over can in my Jayco Conquest 25.1 Motorhome to allow a little more room for a specific trip with just 2 adults using the slide out bed. It appears to be impossible to remove the top bed and I wonder if anyone has tried or achieved this task

The space in the "peak" over cab is pretty useless for storing anything as weighty objects up there can seriously effect centre of gravity - just store light bulky items on the bed.
