I have been a member of the The Grey Nomads for quite a while but have just become a solo caravanner so thought I should hook into the "solo" site and have a look. I shall be off this coming Friday for my first extended trip on my own so shall keep in touch.

Sorry been off the air. I left Mackay just in time before the wet started and I travelled slowly down the Bruce and then across the D'Aguillar hwy to the New England and arrived in the Nelson Bay area last week (12th Feb) visiting my rels and then take my time heading back. About two months.

I'm totally new as well. Starting tomorrow heading from the Central Coast NSW to Melbourne. Planning to take a week or so to do the trip with lots of stops.
