Today we bought a loaf of sourdough bread that had come straight out of a brick oven as we were leaving Bruny Island I reckon that it must weigh 1.5kg or more. The smell coming from the hot bread on the trip back to Richmond nearly drove us both mad so putting on a little weight by eating it is a price that tonight we are both prepared to pay - tomorrow we may regret that decision.
