Yea, it's the last rant! This time I received a letter telling me that I have to go and get a bone density scan, in Perth. 1st of April. (Seems fitting)
May 30th, and I get to see the surgeon who did the work on me! 2 years and 20 days after the op. Again, a trip to Perth.
Is there a light at the end of the tunnel. I doubt it, as the medical boffins can always think of a reason to avoid blame.
I haven't forgotten for a moment that there are many hundreds of people worse off than me.
just a suggestion have you talked to a chemist about the medication you are on? As they can tell you better at times than the doctor's about the interactions of the medications. I had similar problems with pain medication for over 10 years. I have now gone from 20 tablets a day to 6 a day sure some of that was lifestyle e.g. diet and also not doing the right exercises. I feel back in control of my body and am not as fuzzy as I was although the hubby would say I'm still just as dopey as I ever was but what does he know. I hope this helps in someway as I know how frustrating it can get when docs seem to give you the run around. Good luck
