extendable towing mirrors vibrating

Hi. I have a pair of nice chrome towing mirrors on my Nissan. The bottom, or smaller portion is electically adjustable, whilsy the pot, or larger ortion is manually adjustable.

My problem is the top or larger portion, which vibrates greatly, to the extent that all i get is a blurred image of what's behind.

If others have had this experience, how did you control it or eliminate the vibration.

Cheers, to all on the big black-top. KB

What flavour are they KB ?

I have Clear Views on the Collie with no vibrations. I have been told by a couple of people that have a cheaper version they vibrate.

Thanks, but I do not know the flavour except that they have a smell of "flea-bay", if that helps.

I am hoping that they might just "pull-out" from the frame as there does not appear to be any other option for their removal. If I can get the mirror out of the frane I may be able to pack behind them with some foam, or similar.

Cheers Buddy, KB

Go have a look at Utube and see if anything about how to take out a top Clearview mirror as I reckon it will be similar. Might help KB.

Bugga! There is KB but the top mirror is the electric adjusted one not the bottom as yours.
