If you slipped while the porta bote was over your head, you could end up in deep soup
If I really had to place a (not empty), porta bote on a roof rack, I would probably ask someone to assist
Not trying to tell anyone what to do, but if it was me, I would be putting something else on the roof rack, and putting the porta bote, on the floor of the vehicle
