On the outskirts of Wauchope, you will vind Timbertown a living hjistory of timber cutting i the area. They now have a caravan and camping area. Ze eral powered sites with town water. Great amenities, xupermarket etc. Across the road, pub, doctors, chemist, fantastic Thai food.. $20 powered, camping (tents et ., unpowered) $10 - $15.

After reading your post Jules we ( the cook and grandson#3) overnighted here on our way back from the Gold Coast, it's a great spot, we took advantage of the pub for a meal. It appears they are trying to further develop the site to accommodate more travellers, at the moment I'd guess about 15 to twenty powered sites and about as many unpowered with water.
