Hi all can any recommend a good wireless reversing camera ? currently have a camera on rear of motorhome but it doesn't have the coloured guide lines on screen that would be a big help when using .
Been looking at the kogan for $69
Have chosen wireless as its an easy diy job just connected to reversing lights .
Possum3 posted a warning about Kogan on the 23rd of May in the General Forum.
I was advised not to go wireless as they are prone to interference - so I bought a wired type. Guess what? The ultra thin cable is a metre too short! So it is still in my garage - unused! Luckily, it was cheap.

I have have a 2.4Ghz wireless camera mounted on the back of my caravan, so I can watch for following traffic. The 7 inch monitor clips over the rear view mirror. Apparently it operates similar to RC Model Aircraft radios with 'rolling' frequency hopping to counter any interference. The camera has operated flawlessly over the past 2 and 1/2 years and 13,000km of travel. It was not exactly cheap. There is an agent in WA (Perth?) that sells this equipment. As an aside, with my unit the coloured 'backing line' bars can be turned on or off - a Menu item. I have them turned off as I don't use the camera for reversing the caravan - my wife does guide duties in that situation.
