My YK75 has just started displaying an irregular fault, cutting power supply and not responding to TEST button and reset toggle.
Van is a 2005 Olympic. 04 Nov 2019.
On sale 1 January 2006 - 31 December 2013, took a damn long time for someone to notice they were/are non compliant.
No doubt they were marked as compliant in the country of manufacture, as is all exports.
But it was no doubt premature failures in service that brought them to the attention of the local authorities
It may have been a few years before the problems started to show up.
They would have an Australian approval number, based on test info supplied to Aus Authorities & no doubt had that approval number on them
That is the way it usually is done, for ALL imports, not just electrical, unless you want to pay for all such equipment to be retested in Australia????
