Which base for a motorhome.

I am looking at modern motor homes (used LWB size vans) & would appreciate some experienced advice. I do not want to be restricted from some dirt road travel away from large towns so reliability and ease of servicing/repairs/spares are considerations.

Hi Ian,
You might get a better response by posting this in the General board rather than the HT&GI one.

Cheers,
Warren

To try and half answer this part of the question

Snip from the question
ease of servicing/repairs/spares are considerations.

I think that the little availability of spares, and service centres, will rule out Fiat vehicles

If I knew then, what I know now, I would probably get a Ford, as they seem to be Australia wide

Iveco, Ford, MB, not Fiat.
