Ona 7 pin plug the 2 outside wires ore left and right blinker wires

Yea but there are one wire on each side of the seven wires just screwed into casing.

These wires are used to turn of proximity sensors on the tow vehicle (if fitted) when the cover is lifted to plug in caravan.
