My water pump runs when turned on, I can hear it running but it is not delivering water. What is the problem? any advice appreciated.

Pressure or valve blocked ? Disconnect at pump and check ? Easy if it has push on fittings .

Thank you Blaze. I detached the impeller housing and found the outlet valve was stuck closed. I found a technical solution, fiddled it with my finger, all good now:)

There's no impeller in that pump, its a positive displacement pump with a rotor.
