Not sure what the handbrake system is on that Winnebago. It raises the question ,Did the Dog knock the handbrake off or was the handbrake not set correctly.
It brings to mind my brother in Law way back in the 60's in the UK.
He was in the Metropolitan Police and was on a High Speed Driving Course at Hendon Police College in London.
The instructor failed him because he pulled up the handbrake lever not pushing in the release button. Told him it wasn't the way to operate the handbrake. Brother in Law argued that pushing in the button made it possible to have the catch on the handbrake sitting on top of a gear tooth and possibly disengaging.
Big argument apparently and of course the Instructor won.
Karma came in to play and the instructor parked the car one day on a hill and when he returned the car's handbrake had disengaged and the car rolled down the hill and crashed into a Childcare centre's front wall.Lucky no injuries.
All Police drivers were notified that Handbrakes were to be operated without pushing in the 'Release' Button. Only pulling up the handbrake lever on the ratchet.
The perils of the 'Park' setting on Autos. People listen to too many American TV shows that call the Handbrake .The "Emergency" Brake.

I think I had a little truck like that and it had one of those handbrakes you twist around , one that could easily knock and disengage . I think some people from the bush who live on flat country are sometimes not hardwired to leave their vehicles in gear .
I still do it to this day as I was taught how to drive.
If the car is parked down hill point front wheels to gutter.
If car is parked uphill point wheels away from gutter.
When in the outback I avoid pointing car over a cliff etc!
While at it, no one seems to know how to use the driver's mirror to reverse park. It was the only external mirror in my day & they still work just as well today. But I do fine tune with reverse camera.

There was a dog on the news last night somewhere in America , had knocked the gearshift into reverse in a car and it was going around in circles , with a policeman trying to stop it , looks like dogs can drive , just not to well. Again the handbrake not on in an Automatic .
