How can I win, Coles rip off the farmers on 10 cents a litre surcharge. Woolworths rip off employees on pay rates. Closest IGA has questionable shelf pricing issues. Aldi milk tastes like...t to me. Perhaps go back to black coffee and take calcium supplement?
Craig1 Woolies didn't rip off employees as such. They paid those at the top of the ladder at an incorrect rate. And self reported. Those employees are getting their back pay. Don't get me wrong. I think Woolies,Coles etc have screwed the farmers and lied to consumers. They are #$%&&$@. But I would like to see them hang for the right reasons not just some clerical stuff up which only affected a few at the top of the food chain.
There are plenty of milk brands out there that are both Australian owned and merely suppliers to the chain stores.
Stop buying store branded products. Our desire for cheaper products has created the situation where supermarket chains cut corners, import stuff we still produce and screw with suppliers. We created the demand and supermarkets exploited the circumstances.
We buy Norco. It's processed locally and a good product.
