Sydney Motorhome Accommodation

We are travelling from Melbourne to deliver our grand daughter to Sydney University on the 8th of February. We are looking to stay overnight on the southern approach on the 7th within striking distance of Ultimo for 9.30 am the next day. I have checked Wikicamps but the only caravan park I saw was at Elderslie. Does anyone know of any other caravan parks or RV parking areas that would suit. Would appreciate any suggestions.

Ask the Uni if you can stay in their carpark. You never know.
Cheers,
Peter

If it were me; I would park in open area of Holsworthy Railway Station just off the M5 (on Heathcote Rd) - Simply hop on train to Ultimo (25 minute trip to Central Station) see www.tafensw.edu.au/locations/sydney-institute/ultimo

Moorebank Sports club is all but opposite Holsworthy station (4 minute walk) - great place to dine and have a drink. moorebanksports.com.au/dining-and-bars/ Come to think of it MBC carpark is very large and oh so close to Train Station. Ther would be no objections from Club or Patrons there if you overnighted there.

Gooday,

I would consider Lane Cove Caravan Park, it is a good run into the City from there along Epping Road, Pacific Highway and over  the Bridge, have stopped there many times, great park and location. also a Railway Station into the city up on Delhi Road about a 15minute walk from the Park.

Just book ahead either by phone or on line as you may not get a site if you just rollup this time of the year.
