Flat Earth believer RIP

Not sure where to put this

For many years, there was a man who believed the earth was flat, and shaped like a Frisbee

He made a steam rocket, to get up high enough, to see the edge of the earth

Alas, on his last attempt, the parachute was damaged, on the way up, so did not open, on the way down

Only in Merica!

One would have thought it would have been easier and much more economical to sail around the World: or read about Vasco de Gama and Christopher Columbus.
