Hi Bruce...what are you hoping to achieve by fitting airbags? The Prado is limited to maximum towball weight of only 250kg,and has an 1800kg rear axle. GVM is maximum 2990kg,depending on model, with kerb weight between 2300kg and 2450kg. A 250kg towball weight would add around 360kg to your car's rear axle and take about 110kg OFF the front axle.As you will see, with a 250kg ball weight, your GVM already is up to 2700kg.(250+2450kg),leaving only 180kg for passengers, towbar, bullbar, luggage etc, because you already have lost 110kg off the front axle. Be aware that airbags DO NOT help with weight distribution, and will merely level the car.Heavier springs or airbags will likely help with the way the car rides, but neither will do ANYTHING to help with weight distribution.I seem to recall.....and please don't take this as gospel.....that Toyota does not support the use of a WDH on this model. If your only wish is to change the way your car rides and handles, others may be able to offer help, but I wasn't sure what your intentions are, and thought it prudent to post a few facts before you wasted your money.Cheers

I suggest you have a look at Caravan Council of Australia's website www.caravancouncil.com.au/ and download all the free technical articles regarding suspension upgrades for your Prado
