Anzac Day approaches- remember WW1 service people

As Anzac Day sneaks up, attached a couple of photo's of some lucky ones who returned. They left Australia in 1914 & 1915, went to Gallipoli , North Africa and Palestine among other places. then survivors went straight to France, or via England for quick R & R. Then in September 1919, 10 months after war ends some of them get to come home. No such thing as a Tour of Duty in those days. The signatures on reverse of SS Arcanius post card which was brought home by my Grandfather may relate to some ones Grandfather or Great Grandfather or grandmother. A few of them are in the National Archives as well.Alf ww1 on way home.jpgIMG_20200325_0001.jpgIMG_20200325_0001-001.jpg
