Hi all I have just replaced my old 105 amp age battery to a 135 amp age battery, the old battery used to be fully charged at 12.8v to 13v.this new battery has fully charged to 15.6 v is that a normal charge or is it over charging.

If you have taken the charger off and then tested the voltage you will get a high reading (not usually 15V plus though).

Let the battery settle overnight then check it. The voltage should settle to around 12.7 to 13.

Ampere Hour rating is the capacity of the battery,  even though it has a higher capacity than the old one it is still a 12 volt battery.

No AGM should be charged to 15V or more unless it has a temperature compensated charger and the battery temperature is below zero.
You will rapidly dry the battery out and destroy it.
Why is it charging that high? What are you using to do this?

Is your charger doing an equalisation charge which is typically 15-16V.
