heater and composite floor

hi all.I have fitted a diesel heater in my new crusader caravan .it works great. just wandering if I should protect the 40mm composite floor where the circular stainless steel shroud goes through maybe with a bit of heat guard or sisolation .I made the hole as big as I could and Ive run it on high for half an hour and the composite is still very sound and untouched.has anyone else fitted a diesel heater through a 40mm composite floor

If you are concerned you could always fit one of these sheaths. www.ebay.com.au/itm/113755580450

I have never seen any signs of my Eberpacher D2 heater impacting the Plywood floor of my Avan Cruiseliner. Think I fitted it in 2012 and it has been very effective.
