Hi. Can anyone tell me if it is possible to employ someone to negotiate the purchase of a recreational vehicle on behalf of a buyer? I am keen to purchase a motorhome, and have a general idea of what I want, but lack the technical knowledge to feel confident in purchasing it on my own. I once employed a real estate advocate who negotiated the sale of my property and it was a seamless process. Does anyone know of such a business?
Thanks
Lois Kay
LK, Questions need to be asked/Answered:
For 1,2 or 3 people,
Size eg a Sprinter Long wheel Base vehicle with Toilet shower. Or A Toyota Hi Ace Type Of Campervan
Budget.
My Suggestion is a Long Wheel Base Mercedes Benz Sprinter with either an U shaped lounge at the rear that can be made up to a double bed or 2 singles at the rear with a removeable table. To me this setup allows easy living in the vehicle especially in rain periods ( we have LWB High Roof Sprinter and I have a Sprinter Bias)
We purchased our Sprinter from Sydney RV and it came with a 3 month warranty that they honoured so suggest you buy from a dealer with Warranty (after the Virus Travel ban is lifted)
KEA Ex Hire Campervans to me are good value but Sprinters don't appear that common as I understand the base vehicle is around $10,000 more than others.
Have come across Sprinters with 500,000 on the clock, but would not consider buying one with over 300,000Km ( Ours from memory$65k with 106,000km on the clock, x years ago)
