We had to replace the battery in 5 1/2 yr old Honda CRV yesterday. It almost expired due to such low use in the past few weeks and short trips in general anyway.

The battery shop said a charger , maybe 4-6 weeks interval would probably be a good idea until all the s... gets sorted.
