Oyster v sat dish

We have just connected our Vast and Foxtel boxes to the sat system. When we turn the power off at the power point ( not turn the unit off) to the Fox box (240 via inverter) the aerial retracts. Just wondering if anyone had experienced this. Its no big problem as the only time the power is turned completely off is when were on the move. Tia for all any any help Bas
